24hr Fitness Challenge for Children at Christmas

Story

Friday 18th of December from 9.30am, I will be completing a workout every hour on the hour for 24 hours to help raise funds for disadvantaged kids during the Christmas period. Workouts will vary from 9 minutes to 45 minutes and are guaranteed to deliver him some hurt. The last workout will begin at 8.30am Saturday the 19th of December, being the completion of 24 hours.

How can you support? There will be lots happening during the fundraiser- all of which will help in raising funds for The Smith Family. With special guests coming to lend a hand and even take part in some of the workouts, we are hoping for massive support from the community to come and cheer me on during the workouts, and get involved in the event with raffles, food stalls, coffee van, face painting, music, a visit from Brisbane Roar players and lots more fun. Come down—enjoy the entertainment for the whole family, and any purchase you make will assist in getting funds together for the kids.

With Christmas just around the corner, it’s time for those more fortunate  to help those who are in need. These kids deserve the happiness and Christmas cheer of the festive season, so lets all get behind this fundraiser and help to make this happen.

The Smith family says “This gesture of goodwill ensures that all Australian families can come together at Christmas to share gifts and celebrate life. The Smith Family continues to provide opportunities for disadvantaged Australians to participate fully in society and we believe that Christmas is a time when all Australians should feel they belong, regardless of circumstances.”

Sadly, many children living in financial disadvantage will not receive a gift this Christmas. The Smith Family's Toy & Book Appeal is your opportunity to help bring a smile to a disadvantaged child's face this Christmas.

This year, with our help, The Smith Family aims to deliver more than 36,000 new toys and 23,500 new books to children in need around Australia.

Please do not hesitate to donate and thank you in advance for your generosity to such a great cause!
